Boomer housing advice, Pt. 2

Talking to someone about Boomers telling everyone why they can't afford a house:

Anyone who's telling you you should have bought earlier is likely a Boomer. Those people were born on 3rd base and claim they hit a triple.

When they were our age, a house cost like 30% of 1 years' salary, everyone had actual pensions, and you got paid enough at non-college required jobs to lead a normal middle class life.

I just can't deal with people who say we should have done something earlier. If we're going to deal in hypotheticals, then maybe I should also have been born when you were, come up when you could pay for college with a summer job, and you could hired at the factory if you didn't want to go to college.
